Make It happen In 2012!

Things that I want to improve on this 2nd semester:

1: Improve more on my grades

2: Give my full potential and not slack off  In any assignment

3: Graduate with good grades.

This semester I really do believe that I can  achieve all of these goals that I had set, I have to apply myself and know what I must do In order to complete these tasks. I have to focus on my work and learn as much as I can from my teachers and apply that to my assignments or projects.

I must use my time wisely and know that my work Is not a race, I have to take my time with my assignments and make sure that I did my work right and that Its my best work. It sounds hard but If I determine myself to be successful I know that I can achieve and meet the goals that I have set for this 2nd semester. Like Tommy Lasorda said "The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person's determination".

Reflections of a 3rd Grade Intern

I arrived at Foster Village Elementary, My first day as a Intern, I had mixed emotions at the time I was nervous and anxious. I really didn't know what to expect but I knew that I would experience a lot  and enjoy It there.

My teacher Mr. Bell Is a wonderful teacher, he can relate with the children and Is always organized and his lessons for the students are fun and educational. Seeing a teacher like that has given me a picture of how I want to be as a teacher. When he  explains a new topic and goes over with it with the students, When its time for them to do their  assignment over the topic they just went over, they  understand what they are doing. I learned that there are ways to teach to a point where It makes It understandable for the whole class.

When I first signed up for being a Intern I really didn't have a clear picture on how I wanted to be a teacher or how a teacher actually make lesson plans and handle a classroom. The time that I have had at Foster Village has really taught me on how to setup lesson plans and how to interact with the students. I still have a lot to learn and I still have more time to learn at Foster Village  and I know that they still have a lot  to offer me.

The Ideal Classroom

My Ideal classroom would be to have tables and assigned the students In groups rather than putting them In desk. They would learn to cooperate with each other and work.
